ANKARA
Turkish women boxers Buse Naz Cakiroglu, Busenaz Surmeneli and Elif Güneri have advanced to the final of the Women’s World Boxing Championships, the Turkish Boxing Federation said in a statement on Saturday.
Elif Guneri (81 kg) will face Russian Zenfira Magomedalieva, while Busenaz Surmeneli (69 kg) will fight against Chinese Liu Yang for the gold medal on Sunday.
Buse Naz Cakıroglu (51 kg) will face another Russian boxer Liliya Aetbaeva for the gold medal.
The final competitions at the Women’s World Boxing Championships will start at 1100 p.m. (0800 GMT).
