“SHAZAM! FURY OF THE GODS”, AN EPIC SUPERHERO STORY

Shazam! Fury of the Gods, produced by New Line Cinema, DC Entertainment, and Warner Bros. took its place in the vision. This sequel, shot with a budget of 125 million dollars, offers the audience a brand new epic adventure. “SHAZAM!” Adolescent Billy Batson, who transforms into adult Superhero Shazam with a secret identity the moment he says the word, and his family with superpowers, this time join a fantasy battle involving monsters and mystical creatures. The vengeful Ancient Goddesses, known as the daughters of Atlas, return to take revenge and reclaim the powers they inherited from their father. In the movie; We see Billy Batson and other adoptive children learning to balance their Super Hero undercover identities with their teenage life. In this production, which we can actually call a story of maturation, we see how important sacrifice and courage are in order to be a hero. “The Social Construction of Reality,” a sociology classic by Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckman, is presented by the International Sociological Association as the fifth most important book in sociology in the 20th century. In the book, it is stated that the life story of the individual is conceived as a moment embedded in the objective history of society. Also in the book; “The individual participates in a social world by fulfilling roles. When he internalizes these roles, the same world becomes objectively real to him.” and the construction of role typologies is explained. In the movie, we see that Billy Batson’s character internalizes his roles and comprehends this social world in order to fulfill his duties. Directed by Swedish filmmaker David F. Sandberg, the film features Hollywood Stars; Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler are featured. Screenplay by Henry Gayden (“Shazam!”, “There’s Someone Inside Your House”) and Chris Morgan (“Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw”, “The Fate of the Furious”), Shazam! Fury of the Gods film, American comics writer Bill Parker and cartoonist C.C. Beck‘s DC series Shazam! is based on. Stars; Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Grace Caroline Currey, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, and Djimon Hounsou.

DAUGHTERS OF ATLAS

The Daughters of Atlas, not featured in the comic book series, are original characters created for the movie. The twelfth movie in the DC Extended Universe Shazam!
