An Argentine court on Monday sentenced two priests to more than 40 years in jail for abusing deaf children at a Catholic high-school, according to a local daily.
Nicola Bruno Corradi Soliman, 83, and Horacio Hugo Corbacho Blanck, 59, were accused of acts of sexual abuse of children at Antonio Provolo Institute in western Mendoza city, daily La Nacion reported.
Corbacho was sentenced to 45 years in jail, while Corradi was slapped with a 42-year sentence. Both were arrested in 2016.
As well, an employee at the school, Armando Ramon Gomez Bravo, 49, was sentenced to 18 years in jail.
The trial began on Aug. 5 and 42 witnesses, including victims, gave testimony in court.
