Turkey’s cadet judokas bag 13 medals in Balkans

ANKARA

Turkey bagged 13 medals in cadet judo during the Balkan Championship held in Montenegro’s Budva, Turkish Judo Federation said on Sunday. 

In the championship — known as U18 event–, the Turkish team won seven gold, four silver and two bronze medals in total.

Romania became second with five gold, six silver and 10 bronze medals while Bosnia and Herzegovina completed this tournament in the third place with two gold, three silver and 10 bronze medals.

Meanwhile, on the last day of tournament, Fidan Ogel in women’s 63-kg category and Duygu Dirgen in women’s +70kg category won gold medal each.
